About This Site

OKC Bites is the only (known) independent food and restaurant review site covering OKC exclusively. We try to cover all the great restaurants in the metro area but please let us know if we are missing something great. Your comments are always welcome, even if you just want to tell us we suck!!

We started this site because there was no one doing honest, independent reviews for OKC food. The OKC Gazette has reviews but there has NEVER been even ONE bad review. Ever. Not every restaurant is good and we got sick of trying new places on their advice just to be disappointed (or even sick). After a trip to a highly recommended restaurant from this paper that ended with me pulling a giant fish bone out of the roof of my mouth (I had not ordered fish) we said enough is enough!!! This site was born.
